Mum's The Word

Mum's The Word is part of East London Tabernacle Baptist church in Mile End. We are a group of women from a variety of local churches who meet together every Thursday to study the Bible and to pray together. We support a number of mission projects both locally and abroad. Send it to Lithuania is one of them.

Group leaders Liz Rice and Carol Walker have donated bags and bags of stuff for our charity. Numerous other mums who come to this Bible study group have donated clothes as well. We have had contributions from ladies attending such churches as East London Tabernacle , The Mission, St Helen's at Bishopsgate , Poplar Baptist, Greenwich Vineyard , and Poplar & Berger Tabernacle Baptist church.
Carol's neighbour, Probjat, regularly donates clothes for our charity as well. Probjat and her family are practising Sikhs.
