Sally

Sally’s favourite Bible scripture is:

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” Acts2:44,45

Sally has been such a great inspiration to carry on with this ministry. Her passion for helping people in Lithuania is beyond my understanding and has been a major driving force all these years. Recently I received a text message from Sally which I would like to share with you:

Our God is a God who brings His goodness to bear on one another as we walk with Him.

Remain grateful to your Heavenly Father. His grace we are totally undeserving off. You shower your Lithuanian friends with many blessings as you serve them by gathering stuff. Sorting stuff. Have stuff invade your flat periodicly. Send stuff. We give of what we can where we can when we can. We are each blessed as we give and as we receive. We can’t always give to those who give to us at least not always in the same way we have been given to. And it is part of the richness of life to be givers of what we have. God takes our loaves and fishes (cheques, stuff, prayers, smiles, a seat of the bus, holding a door open, a kind gesture, a single word) and HE MULTIPLIES it. It’s great to be a part of that – His purposes for heaven on earth.

Sally is married to Peter and they have four children: Iona, Callum, Ross, and Honor. At the present time they make their home in Bow and attend The Good Shepherd Mission church in Bethnal Green. They support Fairtrade and a number of other charities.
